Late last night the first ever “e-blast” went out on behalf of Inheriting the Trade. Approximately 2,200 people around the world received the e-mail (if anyone reading this post did not receive it please let me know and we’ll add you to the list).
I owe a huge thank you to Jennifer Carr, President and CEO of Borderline Media in Brooklyn, NY, my booking agent and friend. The technical details connected with something like this are more than I would ever want to face. In case you haven’t seen it here are the highlights:
1) The trade paperback version of Inheriting the Trade has just been released by Beacon Press and is available at your local bookstore or online here.
2) The Publisher’s Weekly 2008 “Listen Up Awards” named the Inheriting the Trade audio book one of the year’s ten “finest releases” in the Bio/Memoir category.
3) Tom’s article ‘No’ to Cycle of Vengence is featured in PeaceBuilder Magazine’s fall ’08/winter ’09 issue. PeaceBuilder is the official alumni magazine of Eastern Mennonite University’s Center for Justice and Peacebuilding.
Also included is Tom’s ongoing schedule of speaking appearances at colleges, universities, conferences and other events around the country.
If you’re connected to an organization that brings in speakers on important subjects you can contact Jennifer or Brianna at Borderline Media to discuss bringing Tom to your event.
And, of course, you can find Tom DeWolf, Inheriting the Trade, and Borderline Media on Facebook.
My life has been enriched by my relationship with Borderline Media. Jennifer and Brianna are the best at what they do. If you have media outreach needs you’ll find no one more dedicated to your success than Borderline.
