Katrina Browne was one of five people honored on February 9 by the Rhode Island Black Heritage Society “for her dedication to exposing her family’s role during a horrific time in U.S. history” through her film, Traces of the Trade: A Story from the Deep North. Here’s the story from the Providence Journal.
Congratulations Katrina!
You’ll see in this article that the film will be broadcast nationally on PBS in June. I haven’t received confirmation of this yet. As soon as I do know for certain about the television broadcast, you’ll read about it here.
