When I wrote the posting earlier today about yesterday’s event in Bristol, Rhode Island, my understanding was that Book TV would not air their recording of the book reading and Q&A at Linden Place for a few weeks. Late this afternoon Beacon Press was informed that the first screenings will actually appear this weekend, with the first airing on Saturday, January 19 at 1:00pm and the second on Sunday morning at (yikes!) 1:00am. The times are listed as Eastern Standard Time and I don’t know if that means the times are different in different time zones or not. Check your local listings, as they say.
I’m pleased that they will show my appearance at Linden Place this weekend just prior to the World Premiere of Traces of the Trade at the Sundance Festival this coming Monday, January 21, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
I also appreciate the fact that at least three bloggers, Anne Mini and two distant cousins, Mary Howe and Sarah Faragher, have mentioned it to the readers of their blogs. I keep learning more about the ever-expanding world of blogging and am amazed at the reach of this communication tool.
I watched it this afternoon. You were smooth, relaxed, excellent. I think you picked good bits to read too.
So fun to see my cousin on teevee!
